¶ 2. Viewing BIM models

To open a model, you need to process it once in Forge Viewer and/or Tangl Viewer. To do this, right-click on the file → “Process in Autodesk” and/or “Process in Tangl”. To process multiple models, use the corresponding buttons on the toolbar.
RVT, NWC, and NWD are viewed through Forge Viewer .
Forge Viewer provides a standard set of tools for viewing models.

IFC viewing is possible via Forge Viewer and/or Tangl Viewer (pre-configured by the project administrator).\
When opening an IFC file, the system will ask how to open it.
¶ 3. BIM Model Assemblies

SIGNAX DOCS allows you to assemble a consolidated model of a project. The consolidated model also includes annotation tools and all standard BIM model viewing tools.
To create an assembly, click “+” and select “Assembly”
In the assembly creation window, enter “Name”, select the source folder where the models are stored and select the models to be included in the assembly.
By default, the models will be attached to the assembly using common coordinates, but you can additionally customize the coordinates for each model. Click “Create”
All functions of the selected viewer will be available in the viewer.

To switch to comparison mode, press
Next, you need to select the version to compare.
If necessary, you can select another file uploaded to the SIGNAX DOCS system for comparison.
The document comparison window will open.

Controls the image clarity.
The higher the detail, the sharper the text in the file.
- Match Threshold
Controls the clarity of comparison when overlaying two file versions.
The lower the value, the more accurate the overlay match must be, so that the matching parts are shown in gray when displaying the result.

To switch to comparison mode, click
Next, you need to select the version for comparison, or any other file
Comparison results:
Added - elements that appeared in a later version of the file
Deleted - elements removed from a later version of the file
Changed - elements that had their geometry and/or parameter filling changed
Affected disciplines - filters for switching results by discipline:

¶ 6. Creating Documents XML
- In Project settings the administrator creates a schema type, configures permissions, and uploads the required XSD files (XML templates).
- A user with permission to create a schema of this type uses it when creating XML in any accessible folder.
- After all fields are filled in correctly, the finished XML can be downloaded. If not all fields are filled in, a draft is saved in any case, which can be returned to later.
